Here, you\u2019ll be supported in progressing \u2013 whatever your ambitions.\n\n# Business Unit Director, Endoscopy Central Western Cluster\n\n \nAbout the Role:\n\nThe purpose of this role is to create and lead the development and execution of marketing and sales strategies for the Endoscopy division in the Central Western Cluster: Germany, Alps (Austria, Switzerland) and Benelux. The role has P\u0026L responsibility, manages a team of more than 60 people and reports to the VP of Endoscopy EMEA. \n\n \n\nBoston Scientific\u0027s Endoscopy business focuses on providing advanced medical solutions for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal (GI), pulmonary and bariatrics conditions. Our innovative products include endoscopes, stents, biopsy forceps, and other specialized instruments used by gastroenterologists and pulmonologists to perform procedures such as colonoscopies, bronchoscopies, and endoscopic ultrasounds. The company\u0027s commitment to continuous innovation and improvement ensures that healthcare providers have access to cutting-edge technology that enhances the accuracy, efficiency, and safety of endoscopic procedures.\n\n \n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Manage the P\u0026L of the division in the region.\n * Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies in order to take the organisation to the next level.\n * Plan and control expenses to ensure sales objectives are met within budget.\n * Deploy sales execution strategy and promote continuous improvement of sales execution and productivity.\n * Hire top talent and promote and develop talent within our organization. Foster a winning culture according to BSC values and encourage continuous personal development of the team. Identify and drive opportunities to develop the skills of the organization.\n * Drive marketing excellence, ensuring coherent marketing planning and execution to drive market share and develop new markets for new technologies.\n * Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and key accounts, ensuring long-term value creation and optimized market access across the region. Additionally, the role is expected to drive a portfolio-based selling approach, embedding a \u201cbeyond the device\u201d mindset that emphasizes integrated solutions, clinical value, and customer-centric innovation.\n * Maintain knowledge of the industry and the competition, preparing the organisation on how to counter them and how to foresee impact on local/regional sales activities.\n\n\n\n \n\nKnowledge \u0026 Experience:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent required.\n * Strong sales \u0026 marketing track record in the medical devices industry.\n * Significant experience of leading sales teams (performance management, training, coaching), preferably gained in the Medical Device industry at national or divisional level.\n * Fluency in English and German language.\n * Proven ability to liaise with and influence Key Opinion Leaders.\n * Analytical skills; proven ability to analyse numerical and financial data.\n\n\n\n \n\n Competencies \u0026 Behaviours:\n\n * Strategic and Innovative mindset.\n * P\u0026L management capability, with the ability to balance growth, profitability, and investment decisions.\n * Ability to work with and manage cross-cultural teams in a matrix environment.\n * Strong people leadership skills and capability to inspire others.\n * Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.\n * Excels working in fast-paced, competitive environment.\n * Results-orientated.\n * Willing and able to travel as required by workload.\n\n\n\nRequisition ID: 628890\n\nBoston Scientific transforms lives through innovative medical technologies that improve the health of patients around the world.
