Customer Project Manager (Order Manager)

## \n\nEaton is looking for Customer Project Manager (Order Manager) \n\n\nThis position will be located in our plant in Schrems electrical sector \u2013 enclosures/power distribution components) \n\n \nJob profile:\n\nLead and coordinate customer Low Voltage System Assembly (LVSA) projects from purchase order to final delivery, ensuring on-time execution, clear customer communication, and effective alignment across engineering, procurement, production, testing, and logistics.\n\nLVSA Project Ownership \u0026 Execution\n\n\u2022 Own assigned customer projects from PO receipt to shipment / handover \n\u2022 Create and maintain project plans, milestones, and priorities \n\u2022 Monitor progress across all phases (engineering, material readiness, production, FAT, delivery) \n\u2022 Ensure customer commitments are met regarding timing, scope, and quality\n\nCustomer Interface \u0026 Communication\n\n\u2022 Act as the primary contact for customers and Front-end team during project execution \n\u2022 Coordinate technical clarifications, schedule updates, and status reporting \n\u2022 Manage customer meetings, progress calls, and escalation topics \n\u2022 Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication\n\nCross-Functional Coordination\n\n\u2022 Coordinate internal functions to ensure smooth execution: Post-Order Engineering, \nProject Buyer / Supply Chain, Work Preparation, Production\n\n \nCommercial \u0026 Cost Awareness\n\n\u2022 Monitor project scope vs order confirmation \n\u2022 Drive management of variation orders / additional costs where applicable \n\u2022 Escalate commercial risks or scope gaps\n\nQuality \u0026 Delivery Focus\n\n\u2022 Support FAT planning and customer attendance \n\u2022 Ensure documentation package is ready for delivery \n\u2022 Drive issue resolution to protect on-time delivery and customer satisfaction\n\nReporting \u0026 Governance\n\n \n\u2022 Maintain accurate project tracker and status reporting \n\u2022 Present project status, risks, and actions in internal reviews \n\u2022 Lead lessons learned after project completion\n\n## \n\nWe would like you to bring:\n\n * Degree in Engineering, Business/Industrial or equivalent practical experience\n * 3+ years in project management, order management, or customer project execution\n * Experience in manufacturing / engineered-to-order products preferred\n * Experience with electrical equipment / switchgear / industrial projects is a strong advantage\n * Understanding of project lifecycle in manufacturing environment\n * Ability to read technical drawings / understand engineering topics (advantage)\n * Strong planning and coordination capability\n * Familiarity with ERP (SAP)/ project tracking tools / Excel\n * Strong customer communication skills\n * Good German welcome and excellent English skills\n\n\n\n## \n\nWhat Eaton offers:\n\n \n\n\n * Competitive compensation and benefits package\n * Challenging projects in dynamic and collaborative team\n * Great promotional opportunities - We encourage internal promotion, whenever possible\n * Excellent working environment - Safety and ethics are really important for us\n * Inclusion \u0026 Diversity - Openness to diversity widens our access to the best talent.
