Position Overview:
The Illinois Department of Corrections at Vienna Correctional Center is seeking a candidate to serve as a Confidential Assistant to the Warden. This position performs highly confidential, sensitive administrative tasks, and serves as the institution's Media liaison and Employee Review Hearing Officer. This position works with IDOC Labor on employee grievances and contract issues. The ideal candidate would have a background in policy and procedure. An individual who can convey information effectively through both written and oral reporting is a plus. We are looking for a professional candidate looking to be a part of the Administrative Team, working with both staff at the institution level as well as executive staff at the Department of Corrections.
