 Location: Vienna, Austria (inner district)

 Work model: Fully onsite, 5 days per week

 Your Role

• Manage day-to-day general ledger accounting and journal entries


• Handle invoicing, accounts payable and payment processes


• Perform bank, credit card and balance-sheet reconciliations


• Support the monthly closing process and financial reporting


• Support expense allocation across entities and business activities


• Assist with budgets and financial projections


• Manage and coordinate processes with external vendors and service providers


• Support tax filings and regulatory requirements


• Prepare information and documentation for external audits

 Your Profile

• 4-5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or a related field


• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end closing


• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, AP and invoicing


• Good understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles


• Strong Excel skills


• Experience supporting audits is a plus


• Experience in banking, fintech, financial services, insurance or an audit environment is a strong advantage


• Excellent English communication skills (German is a plus, but not required)


• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Our client is a technology-driven financial services company with an international team and a highly entrepreneurial environment. You'll join the finance and operations team in Vienna and work closely with colleagues in the US, in a fast-moving business.

 Compensation: around €65,000 gross annually, with flexibility to overpay a more senior person.
