This is a hands-on opportunity to join a fast-growing energy infrastructure company at an exciting stage of its development. Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager, you will support the day-to-day finance and accounting function and gain broad exposure to different areas of the business.

You will play an important role in keeping the finance function organized, accurate, and running smoothly, while having the opportunity to develop your accounting and finance skills and take on more responsibility as the company grows.

Your role

• Supporting the day-to-day accounts payable and bookkeeping activities


• Receiving, reviewing, coding, and processing supplier invoices


• Checking invoices for correct documentation, approvals, VAT treatment, amounts, and payment terms


• Preparing payment runs and supporting bank payment processes


• Supporting bank, vendor, and balance sheet reconciliations


• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities


• Supporting AP/AR processes, expense reporting, and employee reimbursements


• Supporting VAT-related processes and preparing information for external accountants and tax advisors


• Following up on missing approvals, documentation, invoices, and other outstanding items


• Communicating with vendors, employees, external accountants, banks, and service providers

Your profile

• Completed commercial or accounting-related education, such as HAK, HAS, apprenticeship, or a comparable qualification


• Initial professional experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounting administration, or a similar finance role is preferred


• Basic understanding of accounting principles and processes


• Knowledge of Austrian bookkeeping and VAT is a plus


• Experience with BMD or another accounting/ERP system is an advantage


• Strong German and English skills (at least C1)


• Ideally, some experience in a small or medium-sized company or entrepreneurial environment

Annual gross salary: STARTS at 40.000 EUR on an annual/gross basis - depending on your skills and experience
