Our Crypto Gift Cards are sold in thousands of retail stores across Europe, from supermarkets and drugstores to electronics retailers. With offices in Austria and Switzerland, right in the heart of "Crypto Valley", we are looking for a Marketing Manager (Retail) to drive our point-of-sale campaigns together with our retail partners.

Role Overview:

The Marketing Manager (Retail) is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating Cryptonow's point-of-sale (POS) campaigns with our retail partners across Europe. He or she ensures that our Crypto Gift Cards and retail products are visible, understood and actively sold in store, and that every campaign meets the MiCAR requirements for crypto-asset marketing communications.

The role reports to the CMO and is part of our retail marketing team, and works closely with Sales, Compliance, Design and our retail partners' marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Marketing Manager (Retail) include, inter alia, the following:

• Planning and managing the annual POS campaign calendar per market and retail partner, aligned with Sales targets and product launches
• Developing and executing in-store campaigns, promotions and seasonal activations (e.g. Christmas) together with retail partners
• Acting as the main marketing contact for retail partners' trade marketing and category teams, including briefings, timelines and campaign approvals
• Briefing and steering the creation of POS materials (displays, card carriers, shelf talkers, posters, digital screens, flyers) with internal designers and external agencies
• Managing production, printing and logistics of POS materials across markets, including proof checks and localisation into all relevant languages
• Coordinating co-marketing initiatives with retailers, such as retailer leaflets, loyalty programmes, retailer websites and apps, newsletters and joint press releases
• Measuring campaign performance (sell-out, activation and redemption rates, ROI) 
• Managing the retail marketing budget per market and partner, including forecasting and cost control
• Supporting new retail launches in expansion markets with launch toolkits and best-practice playbooks

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in trade marketing, shopper marketing or retail marketing, ideally in FMCG, consumer electronics, gift cards or payments
• Proven experience in running POS campaigns with large retail chains (e.g. supermarkets, drugstores, electronics retailers)
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage several markets, partners and deadlines in parallel
• Experience in briefing agencies and managing the production of print and POS materials
• Analytical mindset and confidence in working with sales data, KPIs and campaign reporting
• Interest in crypto and fintech; experience in a regulated industry (financial services, MiCAR, gambling, pharma) is a strong plus
• Fluent English and German; further European languages are a plus
