Technical Sales Engineer 

Location: Austria (Field-Based)
Salary: €70,000 - €80,000 + Bonus + Company Car + Excellent Benefits

About You

We're looking for someone who combines technical understanding with commercial ambition.

  • Proven experience in a technical sales or engineering environment.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development.
  • Ability to engage confidently with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Experience managing customer accounts and developing new business opportunities.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
  • Mechanical engineering qualification or technical apprenticeship.
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, reliability engineering, or maintenance environments is a benefit but not required.
  • Experience selling to any of the following industries: Process Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Heavy Industry, Power Generation, Manufacturing.
  • Experience selling value-based engineering solutions rather than commodity products.
  • Knowledge of reliability improvement methodologies and ROI-driven sales approaches.

Within your first 12 months you will have:

  • Established strong relationships across key industrial accounts.
  • Developed a healthy pipeline of new opportunities.
  • Increased sales within existing customers.
  • Won new business from competitor accounts.
  • Become recognised as a trusted technical advisor within your territory.
  • Contributed to the continued growth of a globally recognised engineering brand.
