Job description

As an Account Manager Life Science, you are the face of ZEISS to our customers. You build and strengthen long-term customer relationships while successfully positioning our innovative product portfolio in the market. You play a key role in growing ZEISS’ market share within your segment, with a strong focus on the academic market in Wallonia and Flanders.

No two days are the same: you are regularly on the road, meeting customers and taking on new challenges. You report directly to the Head of Sales & Service.

What will your day look like?

• Building and maintaining a strong network across Belgium is a key part of your role;
• You actively contribute to increasing ZEISS’ market share within your market segment;
• You are responsible for developing, implementing and following up on the annual sales and marketing plan;
• You identify new sales opportunities and actively engage in prospecting;
• You closely monitor market developments and report relevant trends and insights regarding customers and competitors.

What do we expect from you?

• You have a Bachelor’s degree and have 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in a B2B environment;
• You have an affinity for microscopy and technology. An existing network within the academic community is considered a plus;
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and are results-oriented;
• You have an excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken;
• You will spend a significant amount of time travelling to customers. A valid category B driving licence is therefore required.
