As-built Designer Low Voltage South (LV)

Function

• As part of your role, you will mainly carry out the following tasks:


• Managing plans after an infrastructure project and updating As-built LV plans according to standards and norms to ensure the quality of the plans made available. This task involves regular visits to the various Elia high-voltage substations in the south of the country.


• Updating As-built LV plans after receiving a redlining or following works carried out by technicians.


• Performing quality control on LV plans to ensure their quality and to improve them.


• Collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to guarantee compliance with processes, and to ensure the quality and consistency of as-built plans.


• Working closely with field staff.


• Participating in potential cross-functional working groups to take feedback into account and to prepare for developments in the profession (digitalization, new IT tools, AI, etc.).


• Monitoring and adhering to schedules.


• Applying the LV drawing methodology in coherence with other disciplines.


• Applying current processes and procedures (ProjectWise, etc.).


• Archiving and administratively managing plans and metadata within the ProjectWise application.

Your Profile

• You have at least 1 year of experience as a draftsperson.


• You hold a bachelor’s degree or a secondary education diploma in electricity or electromechanics, or have equivalent experience.


• You are proficient with AutoCAD drawing software.


• You have a good knowledge of MS Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.


• Team spirit, flexibility, a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a strong customer orientation are among your best qualities.


• You are open to change and constantly seek to improve processes.


• You have a sense of responsibility, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and are pragmatic.


• Experience as an LV draftsperson, mastery of as-built LV/ProjectWise processes, and technical knowledge of the Elia network are assets.


• You are a French speaker with a good knowledge of the second national language, or you are willing to learn it.


• You are willing to travel to Elia substations in Belgium (southern region)
