We are on the lookout for a AI in Data Engineering Consultant for Belgium. Our ideal candidate should be passionate about Data & AI, possess deep technical knowledge and a focus on delivering measurable business impact. You must possess. • Experience: Senior Data Engineer with 15+ years of experience across enterprise data platforms, data pipelines and production-grade engineering. • Technology: Hands-on Databricks practitioner with strong PySpark, Spark SQL, notebooks, workflows and performance tuning experience. • AI Agents: Practical experience using Databricks Genie and understanding how GenAI can improve data engineering productivity. • Strong ability to industrialise business-created notebooks into scalable, governed and maintainable IT-grade assets. • Deep understanding of engineering standards: code quality, logging, naming conventions, reusable patterns, testing and documentation. • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, version control and data pipeline lifecycle management.
