Business Controller

Your role

As Business controller it is your mission to manage the financial flow of the 2 operational entities within Edmac Europe (Edmac and OriginAir). Your financial analyses support the strategic business decisions of the organization.  In this position you report to the General Manager.

The main responsibilities of this position:

• 
  
  Oversee all accounting activities for both entities, including general ledger, AP/AR, intercompany, fixed assets, credit control and monthly reporting.
  
  


• 
  
  Analyze financial results and sustainability‑related data, and report to group and local management.
  
  


• 
  
  Ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements (VAT, annual accounts, audits, Intrastat).
  
  


• 
  
  Safeguard trade compliance and support management in setting and maintaining employee prokura.
  
  


• 
  
  Lead and coach the Finance team and act as key contact for divisions, authorities, and external partners.
  
  


• 
  
  Drive ERP implementation/development as key‑user and support global Edmac entities in their P&L insights and consolidated reporting.
  
  

To succeed, you will need

We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-driven, no-nonsense professional with a background in finance:

• You are entrepreneurial, communicate easily in Dutch and English, and are open to different cultures.


• Knowledge of Dynamics NAV and/or SAP is an advantage.


• Strong in administration & strong in finding solutions.


• You are flexible, hands-on and you can work independently


• You are capable of working under time pressure in order to respect deadlines.


• You have an international mindset, are result oriented, proactive and have a positive attitude.


• You are committed, like to take responsibility and initiative.


• You have strong analytical skills.


• You have a master’s degree or equivalent by experience.

This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Wilrijk. You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.

Option 2 - OriginAir: On-Site
This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Willebroek. You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
