Why This Role Matters
Our client is on a mission to elevate their cybersecurity posture by transforming their awareness strategy into a robust, actionable, and future-proof program. Evaluate awareness maturity against industry best practices and standards (ISO 27001 Annex A, NIST, ENISA).
Identify target audiences, risk behaviors, and map awareness needs across the organization.
Design a concrete, actionable improvement plan and renewed awareness strategy, including campaigns, phishing simulations, training, and communication initiatives.
Develop and present clear, persuasive reports and executive summaries for the CISO and management.
Ensure effective knowledge transfer to the CISO team at the conclusion of the mission.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment and buy-in for proposed strategies.

Ability to benchmark and evaluate cybersecurity awareness strategies against leading standards and frameworks.
Exceptional communication skills, able to engage and influence diverse audiences from management to end users.
Autonomous, results-driven, and able to deliver high-quality outcomes within tight timelines.
Advisory authority under broad direction (SFIA level 5 – Ensure, advise); you are a senior/expert, not a junior.
Experience in knowledge transfer and upskilling internal teams.
Technical Skills
Expertise in benchmarking against ISO 27001 Annex A, NIST, and ENISA standards.
Design and execution of awareness campaigns, phishing simulations, and training programs.
Strong understanding of behavioral change and communication strategies in the context of security awareness.
