Director Export and Project Logistics – Global

Antwerp, Belgium

Our customer is an independent international freight forwarder and project logistics specialist based in Antwerp. They manage complex project cargo, OOG, breakbulk, containerized, airfreight and multimodal shipments worldwide for clients in industries such as energy, oil & gas, medical, mining and industrial manufacturing.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Director Export & Project Logistics to strengthen their team and contribute to the further development of their international project activities.

This is a senior, hands-on position combining project management, operational expertise, commercial development and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

Lead and oversee complex international project logistics.

Develop transport concepts for project cargo, OOG and multimodal shipments.

Manage and develop relationships with key clients, carriers and international partners.

Contribute to pricing, tenders and commercial negotiations.

Support the further development of our Project activities, alongside our other global markets.

Guide and support the Project Logistics Team while remaining actively involved in key projects.

Work closely with management on the further growth of the company.

Your profile

Minimum 10 years of experience in international freight forwarding and project logistics.

Strong hands-on knowledge of project cargo and multimodal transport.

Experience with North American logistics is a strong asset.

Commercially minded, entrepreneurial and solution-oriented.

Able to combine leadership with operational involvement.

Fluent in Dutch and English, with a good working knowledge of French.
