We are looking for a Digital Technology Medical Affairs Lead who is collaborative, curious, and innovation driven to join our Digital Technology Patient Evidence team, based at our HQ in Anderlecht, Belgium.


 


About the role


As Digital Technology Medical Affairs Lead, you will act as a trusted technology partner for medical affairs teams, translating their needs into clear roadmaps and digital capabilities that support Medical Excellence and Transformation priorities. You will play a central role in shaping the technology roadmap, driving innovation, and enabling seamless integration of digital solutions and medical technology platforms across functions. By combining technical expertise with strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement, you will help ensure solutions remain effective, reliable, secure, validated, compliant, and aligned with business priorities while delivering meaningful value for patients and stakeholders.

You will work in a global, diverse team that supports medical communities through innovative digital solutions and services. Working closely with medical, digital technology, quality, compliance, and cross-functional partners, you will help shape roadmaps and deliver capabilities that support Medical Excellence and Transformation. You will also be partnered with external technology providers and subject matter experts to deliver best-in-class solutions, ensuring connected systems and high-quality outcomes across medical technology platforms.


 


What you’ll do



  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Medical Affairs digital technology platforms, ensuring alignment with business priorities and global objectives

  • Act as system owner for supported technology platforms, managing release cycles, validation activities, service operations, and continuous improvements to maintain performance and compliance

  • Oversee system operations and ensure supported systems meet regulatory standards, data integrity expectations, cybersecurity requirements, and quality processes

  • Collaborate with medical and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver solutions that improve efficiency and user experience

  • Build and manage partnerships with technology providers and external service partners to implement new features and stay aligned with relevant industry practices

  • Ensure integration and connectivity across systems, enabling reliable data flow and supporting collaboration across functions

  • Build, maintain, and support trusted data foundations that enable analytics, automation, and AI initiatives

  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with sustainable operational support


 


Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills



  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field

  • At least 3 years of experience in a technology role, preferably within the healthcare or life sciences environment

  • Experience working with enterprise platforms supporting regulated processes

  • Proven ability to manage projects, stakeholders, define requirements, and translate business needs into technology solutions

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, and business understanding

  • Fluent written and spoken English, with strong communication and collaboration skills
