Job Description - EU Service & Hub Team Lead



 


Your role


At Atlas Copco Rental Europe, we are looking for a dynamic operational leader to oversee our European service operations and the central repair HUB in Boom, Belgium.


In this role, you combine people leadership with operational excellence. You lead the European Service Engineers supporting projects across Europe, as well as the HUB technician team responsible for maintaining and preparing our fleet.


Your mission is to ensure optimal service delivery, fleet readiness, and strong KPI performance across both field and workshop operations.



 


You will:



  • EU Service operation

    • Lead and coach European Service Engineers across projects in Europe

    • Plan and deploy technicians effectively to meet business needs

    • Support execution of service jobs and ensure full service coverage

    • Drive competence development and knowledge sharing



  • HUB Service team

    • Lead and develop the HUB Service Engineers team

    • Oversee workshop planning and execution

    • Ensure fleet readiness, compliance, and cost-efficient operations

    • Manage resources, subcontractors, and inventory

    • Drive QHSE compliance and continuous improvement



  • KPI's

    • Monitor and improve service and HUB performance through KPIs

    • Optimize service processes, systems, and ways of working

    • Act as competence owner and support training of service teams



  • In general

    • Collaborate with rental, logistics, fleet, and engineering teams

    • Ensure availability of equipment and skilled technicians

    • Contribute to European operational and strategic discussions

You have:



  • A technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience in service operations or workshop environments

  • Proven experience managing international teams

  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems

  • Experience with ERP systems and MS Office
