Job Description - Front-end Developer

Join our Data Platform team as a Front End Developer, where you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing intuitive user interfaces for our global defense customers. You'll work on cutting-edge projects involving data science, analytics, AI, optimizations, and simulations. If you're passionate about creating seamless user experiences and have strong React and JavaScript skills, we'd love to hear from you.Front-End Development:

o Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React and JavaScript.
o Utilize D3.js to create dynamic data visualizations.
o Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

·UI/UX Design:

o Design and implement user interfaces that are intuitive and visually appealing.
o Apply user-centered design principles to enhance user experience.
o Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.

Collaboration & Agile Practices:

o Participate in Scrum ceremonies using Jira, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into functional interfaces.
o Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.

Continuous Improvement:

o Stay updated with the latest industry trends in front-end technologies and UI/UX best practices.
o Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
o Identify and address performance bottlenecks and bugs.

Experience:

o Minimum of 5 years of professional front-end development experience.
o Proven experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
o Experience with data visualization libraries, especially D3.js.
o Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
o Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.

UI/UX Skills:

o Strong ability to design user interfaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
o Experience with design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
o Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.

Agile Methodology:

o Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
o Proficiency with Jira for project management and issue tracking.

Soft Skills:

o Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
o Strong communication and teamwork skills.
o Ability to work independently and take initiative.
