RELYzIT Talent is seeking an elite Full-Stack Architect for a high-impact, national-scale healthcare platform. Our client is building a groundbreaking, evidence-based point-of-care platform designed to deliver trusted, up-to-date clinical knowledge to healthcare professionals across Belgium. This is not a traditional software project—it’s a national initiative that will centralize validated medical evidence, streamline clinical workflows, and directly impact patient outcomes. As Full-Stack Architect, you will be pivotal in designing the technical backbone that ensures reliability, scalability, and seamless integration with EHR systems and mobile devices. Your work will enable clinicians to make informed decisions, improve care quality, and set new standards for digital health in Belgium.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Defining and owning the end-to-end architecture across web portal, mobile, AI, and interoperability layers.


• Designing API-first and service-oriented architectures that enable seamless integration and scalability.


• Architecting robust, scalable knowledge databases and metadata frameworks tailored to healthcare content.


• Establishing secure authentication and access management solutions to protect sensitive health data.


• Setting architectural governance and technical standards to ensure long-term platform integrity.


• Integrating advanced knowledge retrieval systems within healthcare vendor solutions and EHR environments.


• Implementing federated and semantic search capabilities for rapid, relevant evidence discovery.


• Ensuring compliance and integration with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 FHIR, SNOMED CT, ICD, ICPC).


• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to align technology with evidence-based healthcare information ecosystems.


• Advising on AI architecture and its application within clinical knowledge platforms.


• Supporting publisher content delivery models, APIs, and centralized (meta)data management.


• Engaging with stakeholders to ensure the platform meets the needs of clinicians, publishers, and regulatory bodies.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven ownership of national or large-scale healthcare information platform architecture.


• Expertise in designing and implementing API-first, service-oriented, and scalable system architectures.


• Deep experience with secure authentication, access management, and architectural governance.


• Hands-on integration of knowledge retrieval systems within EHR and healthcare vendor solutions.


• Mastery of federated and semantic search technologies.


• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards: HL7 FHIR, SNOMED CT, ICD, ICPC.


• Strong understanding of AI architectures and their application in clinical knowledge environments.


• Experience with evidence-based healthcare information ecosystems and clinical knowledge platforms.


• Familiarity with publisher content delivery models, APIs, and metadata centralization.

• Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, driving consensus and innovation.

Other Requirements

• Freelance position: 4-month initial assignment, with potential for renewal.


• Partial remote work; on-site presence in Brussels may be required for key meetings and stakeholder engagement.


• Experience working in multidisciplinary, agile environments is highly valued.


• Ability to quickly understand and align with complex healthcare and regulatory frameworks.
