About the Role

RELYzIT Talent is seeking a highly skilled Full-stack Developer .NET / Angular for a freelance engagement with our client. This is a 24-month project based in Melle, Belgium, where you’ll join a forward-thinking Agile development team. Your mission: architect, build, and support robust, scalable web applications and microservices in a modern Azure Cloud and DevOps environment. This role is pivotal in shaping digital solutions that power business transformation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade web applications and microservices using .NET and Angular frameworks.


• Support and adapt existing applications, handling project work, maintenance, and incident resolution.


• Contribute to both functional and technical solution design, translating business needs into concrete, scalable solutions.


• Write clean, well-documented code and comprehensive unit tests (nUnit or xUnit).


• Ensure adherence to development best practices and internal IT standards.


• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, estimation, and planning of development activities.


• Collaborate closely with team members, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.


• Support knowledge management and transfer within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.


• Communicate effectively with service desk, project managers, infrastructure managers, and management.


• Assist in change and release management processes, including performing and monitoring releases.


• Evaluate technical feasibility of new requests and contribute to solution architecture.


• Mentor and support fellow developers in problem-solving and optimal solution delivery.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Demonstrable experience in developing .NET-based applications (Medior level or higher).


• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with .NET 6 or higher.


• Strong expertise in Angular 2 or higher (Senior level).


• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and development on Azure (including Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Azure KeyVault, Azure Service Bus, and Azure App Services).


• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Bicep.


• Solid understanding of ORM frameworks, especially Entity Framework.


• Backend development experience with ASP.NET Core Web API and .NET Core.


• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL, etc.).


• Proven ability in unit testing (nUnit or xUnit) and web development.


• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.


• Experience with ASP.NET MVC is a plus.


• Demonstrable education with certification or equivalent experience in .NET (C#).
