Head of IC Supply Operations

We are looking for a Head of Intercontinental Market Supply Operations who is strategic, collaborative, and results-driven to join our Global Supply Chain team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine L'alleud, Belgium.

About the role:

You will lead global intercontinental market supply operations, ensuring strong performance across service, cost, and forecast accuracy. You are going to drive continuous improvement, oversee distribution strategies, and deliver successful product launches. You will shape global supply chain direction, strengthen risk management capabilities, and enhance patient value while aligning operations with business and commercial priorities.

Who you will work with:

You will work closely with global and regional supply chain teams, commercial partners, and external stakeholders. You are going to collaborate across functions such as logistics, sustainability, and compliance. You will engage with senior leaders and cross-regional teams to align strategies, strengthen operations, and ensure seamless supply chain performance across intercontinental markets.

What you will do:

• You will lead global intercontinental supply operations, ensuring service excellence, efficiency, and alignment with strategic objectives.


• You will be responsible for delivering product launches, lifecycle management, and key global supply chain projects successfully.


• You will manage distribution networks, vendor performance, and logistics optimization to improve cost and service outcomes.


• You will drive demand forecasting, SIOP processes, and inventory governance to support business decisions.


• You will lead risk management activities, ensuring supply continuity and proactive mitigation strategies across markets.


• You will foster team development, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement to build a high-performing, customer-focused organization.

Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.


• Strong experience in global supply chain management within complex, regulated environments.


• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills across multicultural and cross-functional teams.


• Solid knowledge of GMP, GDP, trade compliance, and audit readiness practices.


• Experience managing vendors, logistics networks, and cost-to-serve optimization initiatives.


• Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
