About the Role

We are seeking an elite IT React Developer to join our client’s Agile transformation journey at the heart of Belgium’s enterprise banking sector. As a key builder, you’ll help shape digital solutions that empower enterprise clients, working end-to-end across web and mobile platforms. What You’ll Be Doing

• Translating business requirements into high-quality, maintainable code


• Designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reusable, and reliable applications, with a primary focus on React front-end development


• Contributing to backend development using Java and Spring Framework as needed


• Collaborating with cross-functional Agile squads to deliver new features end-to-end


• Integrating with external data sources and APIs


• Ensuring optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications


• Applying development best practices, including clean code principles and refactoring


• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs


• Actively sharing knowledge and suggesting improvements to squad processes


• Pair programming and participating in code reviews to drive continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in software development


• Deep expertise in React and Core JavaScript


• Proven experience with Git, Jest, and React Testing Library


• Solid understanding of clean code, refactoring, and design patterns (including SOLID principles)


• Practical experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)


• Experience with Java, Spring, Maven, and database technologies is a plus


• Strong Agile mindset: collaborative, feedback-driven, and focused on team success


• Hands-on experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies


• Knowledge of authentication processes and implementations is advantageous


• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, improvement-oriented attitude


• Ability to adapt quickly and build strong relationships within new teams


• Ownership mentality with a passion for building impactful solutions

Language Proficiency

• Sound knowledge of English is required


• Knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus

Other Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience


• Strong commitment to Agile principles and cross-functional teamwork


• Willingness to contribute beyond your primary discipline to achieve sprint goals
