Job Description - Mechatronics Assembler

We are experts in designing, manufacturing, maintaining, and upgrading large and complex elements for aircraft and space launchers. 


 


In Brussels, we have our Structural and Mechatronics Engineering offices, where all our new programs begin and our workshops are equipped with modern


machines that produce complex metallic assemblies for aircraft and space launchers as well as advanced Thrust Vectoring Systems for space launchers.




Mission : 


 


You work in the Actuation Assembly & Test department. Your role will be to assemble flight equipment for civil and military aircraft and space launchers according to a given procedure. Once this operation is completed, you adjust the equipment to obtain all the required performances. You provide technical support in the event of a search for procedure improvements.


 


Responsibilities :


 



  • You visually check the quality of mechanical parts and elastomers.

  • You assemble subassemblies (mechanical/hydraulic or electromechanical), control equipment or new flight servos following a given procedure.

  • You analyze equipment defects, failures and/or malfunctions as well as functional test results.

  • You overhaul and repair military flight controls or servos.

  • You ensure the finishing of flight control equipment.

  • You adjust equipment on test benches.

  • You handle non-conformity repairs.

  • After internal training, you work independently on your projects.

  • You carry out rigorous self-checks to guarantee the quality and conformity of products throughout the production process.

  • You ensure the EN9100 quality standards and the ISO 14001 environmental standard.

  • You transferr your skills and knowledge to new team members in order to foster an environment of continuous learning and mutual support.
     


Profile :


 



  • You have a bachelor's degree in mechanics or electromechanics or equivalent experience.

  • You are able to read and interpret assembly drawings.

  • You are concerned with quality and detail.

  • You are attentive to safety.

  • You enjoy working in a team.

  • You have a critical mind.

  • You have a good knowledge of MS Office.

  • You are fluent in French and/or Dutch.

  • Knowledge of technical English is an asset.
