While you don’t mentor others formally, you represent an experienced and consistently reliable member of the development team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the implementation of smaller features, making sound architectural choices with oversight from senior engineer or architect.
  • Write scalable, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to industry and team standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mid-complexity system issues such as performance bottlenecks, deployment issues, or complex bugs.
  • Contribute to solution designs during planning by providing technical insight and suggesting best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with architects, tech leads, and other engineers to define technical roadmaps.
  • Continuously enhance your knowledge of the tech stack and deployment architecture, including AWS services, Istio, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IAC), and operational pipelines if required.
  • Participate in peer review processes by providing constructive feedback.

What you’ll bring

  • Years of Experience: Typically 2–5 years of experience in software development
  • Strong understanding of the company’s tech stack (C#, Angular, RxJS, AWS EKS, PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.) and the ability to apply it effectively in projects.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture, CQRS, RabbitMQ (with MassTransit), microservices, and associated system patterns.
  • Experience with Git, pipelines, agile workflows, and Azure DevOps for ticket tracking and deployments.
  • Ability to balance delivering features with technical improvements (e.g., refactoring when necessary).
  • Basic understanding of software trade-offs (e.g., choosing between performance, scalability, or maintainability).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other engineers.
  • Awareness of how cybersecurity concepts map to the technical implementation of the platform (e.g., submissions, notifications, triaging).
