Why This Role Matters

Our client is elevating their cloud security and operational resilience by extending Dynatrace observability into a comprehensive security and runtime-protection capability. As a Senior Cloud Engineer - SRE, you will be instrumental in implementing Dynatrace Runtime Vulnerability Analytics (RVA) and related security modules across AWS and Azure estates. Your work will empower engineering and security teams with real-time visibility into application and infrastructure risk, directly reducing vulnerabilities and ensuring business continuity. What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and implementing Dynatrace Runtime Vulnerability Analytics (RVA) across both containerized and non-containerized workloads for continuous, runtime-based vulnerability detection.


• Rolling out additional Dynatrace security capabilities, including Application Security, Attack Detection, and Runtime Application Protection, in alignment with security architecture and compliance requirements.


• Deploying and managing Dynatrace OneAgent and ActiveGate across AWS and Azure environments to ensure full-stack observability of applications, hosts, and services.


• Integrating Dynatrace monitoring and security signals with AWS services such as EC2 and Elastic Beanstalk.


• Integrating Dynatrace monitoring and security signals with Azure PaaS services, including Logic Apps, Function Apps, and Web Apps.


• Defining and maintaining Dynatrace management zones, tagging strategies, and access policies in line with cloud governance and RBAC models.


• Building automated deployment pipelines (Infrastructure as Code) for Dynatrace agent rollout, configuration, and lifecycle management across AWS and Azure.


• Configuring alerting, problem detection, and dashboards to support SRE and security operations, and integrating relevant signals into SIEM/SOAR tooling.


• Collaborating with application, cloud platform, and security teams to triage vulnerabilities identified through Dynatrace RVA and driving remediation to closure.


• Contributing to reliability engineering practices, including SLOs/SLIs, incident response, and post-incident reviews for platforms under Dynatrace coverage.


• Maintaining documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials for Dynatrace security tooling and integrations.


• Staying current with the Dynatrace product roadmap and evaluating new security and observability features for adoption.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven hands-on experience with Dynatrace, including agent deployment, configuration, and administration in enterprise environments.


• Experience with Dynatrace security features, ideally Runtime Vulnerability Analytics (RVA) and/or Application Security modules.


• Solid working knowledge of AWS, including EC2 and Elastic Beanstalk.


• Solid working knowledge of Azure, including Logic Apps, Function Apps, and App Service (Web Apps).


• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation) for automating monitoring agent deployment.


• Understanding of SRE principles: SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, incident management, and reliability-focused operations.


• Familiarity with vulnerability management processes and coordinating remediation across engineering teams.


• Scripting/automation experience (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for tooling and integration work.


• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across security, platform, and application teams.

• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar) for pipeline integration.


• Exposure to container platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.


• Experience with SIEM/SOAR integration and security operations workflows.


• Background in a regulated industry such as financial services or insurance.

Language Proficiency

• Professional proficiency in English is required.


• Knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus, but not mandatory.
