Senior Consultant Actuary Life - Financial Services

The Opportunity

Our market-leading Actuarial Team is looking for experienced Actuaries (Senior Consultant (2+ years of experience) or Manager (5+ years of experience level) with life insurance experience to address the growing demand of insurance companies. 

Key Responsibilities

Support insurance companies in a wide range of topics such as:
•    Designing future-proof life insurance products, including the development of pricing strategies and methodologies
•    Performing valuation of life insurance liabilities, using a wide range of actuarial software (e.g. Prophet, Python, etc.)
•    Assisting insurance companies in further optimizing their IFRS17 processes and enhancing their reporting to provide valuable insights to investors and stakeholders
•    Developing and optimising internal models to compute the SCR
•    Providing support to our Transactions team on actuarial aspects during due-diligences on life portfolio’s

Skills and Attributes for Success

• A master’s degree in actuarial sciences


• Minimum of 2 years of experience, working in a life actuarial-oriented position within an insurance company or a consultancy firm


• A solid knowledge in at least 2 of the following topics: life product development and pricing, life reserving techniques, risk management, Solvency II or IFRS17.


• Internal model experience is a plus


• A strong team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy


• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in Dutch and/or French and proficient level of business English


• A global mindset and the drive to work in international teams
