About the Role

RELYzIT Talent is seeking a Senior Data Solution Designer Microsoft for a high-impact, freelance assignment with our client in Brussels. This is a unique opportunity to architect and deliver advanced Microsoft data solutions that power critical business intelligence and regulatory reporting. You’ll be at the heart of transforming data into actionable insights, shaping the future of data-driven decision-making for a major organization.

As a Senior Data Solution Designer, you will architect and implement the data backbone that ensures business continuity, compliance, and strategic foresight. Your work will directly impact operational excellence, regulatory transparency, and the ability to forecast and respond to business challenges.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and implement end-to-end Power BI solutions tailored to evolving business needs, leveraging Microsoft Azure, Data Factory, Databricks, and related technologies.


• Develop integrated reports, dashboards, and alerting systems for financial, HR, customer service, and regulatory domains, drawing from SAP ECC6, SAP S4Hana, and diverse data sources.


• Architect and optimize ETL processes, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and data publication pipelines, ensuring alignment with defined data architecture and business objectives.


• Lead technical initiatives for annual CSRD & Taxonomy reporting and regulatory submissions.


• Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve the Microsoft and Databricks data environments, ensuring high availability and performance.


• Collaborate closely with the Data Management department to enhance data architecture and drive innovation in data consumption and forecasting.


• Ensure all solutions comply with GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIS2 directives, embedding security and privacy by design.


• Act as a technical mentor and thought leader, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the data team.


• Work on-site in Brussels at least three days per week, with partial remote flexibility, ensuring seamless collaboration and business continuity.

Other Requirements

• Freelance position: 24-month assignment, full-time commitment (approx. 440 man-days over 2 years).


• On-site presence in Brussels required at least 3 days per week (partial remote possible).


• Compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIS2 standards throughout the assignment.


• Ability to plan leave in coordination with business continuity requirements.
