Job Description - Senior Java Developer

For one of the international institutions in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer with +8 years of Java experience to join our fast-growing team.

EU candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates need to be willing to relocate to relocate to Luxembourg.

A work permit is not provided. This role is open for employees and contractors. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Application design/analysis, component modelling, coding, unit testing, functional testing, documentation and support;
Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities;
Conduct research to find ways to improve operations;
Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance;
Took part in the architecture design and implement new Web Services;
Management and assistance in testing, deployment and configuration of the IS;

Profile:

Master's degree in a related field;
+8 years of specific expertise in Java;
+4 years of experience with MicroServices;
Strong experience in Spring framework, Hibernate / JPA;
Hands-on experience with Jira, Atlassian Confluencera and SQL;
Front-end knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript, experience with Angular 2+ is an asset;
Cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure) is an asset;
Fluency in English;
