Senior Manager, Digital Commerce

The role

You step into ownership. You move fast and take responsibility for what you build. You focus on work that matters, not on noise that slows things down. You’ll lead Loop’s Shopify function and multidisciplinary team across digital content, ecommerce project management, product ownership, and CRO. You’ll set the roadmap, operating rhythm, and priorities that keep our website commercially powerful, reliable, and easy to shop, while evolving it into an even stronger digital flagship for the Loop brand.

What you’ll do (and what you won’t)

• You own the strategy, roadmap, and performance of Loop’s Shopify website experience end-to-end.

• You lead a multidisciplinary team across digital content, ecommerce project management, product ownership, and CRO, setting clear priorities, ways of working, and accountability.

• You own core website KPIs, including conversion rate, site performance, accuracy, and customer journey quality.

• You evolve the website as a digital flagship, bringing together product education, brand storytelling, guided selling, merchandising, and conversion.

• You make decisions grounded in customer behaviour, commercial impact, and operational feasibility, partnering with Performance, Data & Insights, UI/UX, and Tech & AI to turn insight into action.

• You enable new products, campaigns, categories, partnerships, and markets through a scalable website experience.

• You act as the key Shopify partner across Product Marketing, Brand, Performance, CRM, Finance, Legal, Operations, Retail, B2B, Careers, and Customer Happiness.

• You manage Shopify tooling and agency budget, balancing stakeholder needs with clear prioritisation and strong commercial judgement.

What you’ll bring

• You bring experience leading a high-performing ecommerce, Shopify, digital product, or DTC website function.

• You’re a strong commercial thinker with a clear understanding of conversion, customer journeys, merchandising, and website performance.

• You have strong taste and judgement across brand and UI/UX, and you know commercial optimisation should not come at the expense of customer experience or long-term brand equity.

• You’re confident leading multidisciplinary teams and managing senior specialists.

• You can turn broad business needs into a clear roadmap and operating rhythm, and work effectively across Brand, Product, Tech, Data, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.

• You’re a strong prioritiser who can balance speed, quality, risk, and impact, influence senior stakeholders, and make decisions with incomplete information.

• You use AI regularly and intentionally to improve the quality, output, experience, or decisions behind your work. You know where AI adds value and where it doesn’t, build repeatable workflows where relevant, critically evaluate outputs before they ship, and stay accountable for the result.

• You want your work to matter, not just exist.
