Senior Officer - Content Creation

Job Purpose

The main aim of this role is to create client communication on a wide range of topics and to contribute in a significant way to the establishment of internal and external campaigns from an ad copy point of view.

MeDirect has the clear ambition to strengthen its content creation capacities. We consider this one of the main improvements to reinforce our capacities to upsell our product range and acquire new clients. In this role, you will actively create client content yourself and contribute on many different communication topics. The most relevant channels for your scope are social media and e-mail.

We are looking for a person that can activate themes that are important for the brand in a smart and impactful way. You will do this over a selection of social media channels.

Social listening and CRM management via social media channels are equally part of the job assignment.

Our ambition is to create more audiovisual content in the nearby future.

Duties and responsibilities

• Creating and translating client communications on a wide range of topics (ranging from financial products to CEO editorials or cyber security related content.) and establishing impactful ad copy for the internal and external campaigns


• Coordinating the process of validating and improving this client communication with different stakeholders. (E.g. Legal, Compliance, Products, Customer Care…)


• Activating client communication via social media whereby Linkedin is an important channel.


• Ad hoc translations of client communications (EN/FR/NL), corporate actions or partner content.


• Social listening and social crm management


• Adapting and maintaining the MeDirect blog (writing content and adding images)
  

Required knowledge, skills and experience

1. Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communication or a language-oriented field of study.


2. At least 5 years’ experience in a relevant role (as a copy writer or in a similar role in a communication agency).


3. Experience in the finance industry and/or a solid base knowledge about financial products (ETFs, shares, funds, bonds) are considered a great advantage for this role.


4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch, English and French is a key requirement for this role.


5. Creating content and writing short and long copy is what you do best and where you can make a difference.


6. You are a communication enthusiast. You never stop thinking about how we could formulate things better and are one of the go-to persons within the company for all matters that are language-related.


7. You have an eye for detail and can plan and coordinate with a broad range of stakeholders


8. Ability to work under pressure, flexible and stress resistant.


9. Positive minded and pro-active Team Player. Ready to go the extra mile for your team members.


10. Previous experience in creating audio-visual content and operating the necessary tools to do so are a big plus.
