About the Role

RELYzIT Talent is partnering with our client to deliver a next-generation SCADA platform, ensuring real-time balance and stability for critical power infrastructure in Belgium, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. Why This Role Matters

The energy sector is transforming, and the stakes have never been higher. As the backbone of our client’s real-time operations, you will help implement a new SCADA platform based on AVEVA System Platform / OMI. Your work will empower Power Dispatch, Energy Management, and Transmission System Operators (TSOs) to make split-second decisions, integrate renewable and flexible assets, and maintain grid stability. This role is mission-critical: your solutions will drive operational excellence, support the energy transition, and ensure the seamless integration of innovative technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and developing advanced SCADA solutions using AVEVA System Platform / OMI to support real-time decision-making and operational control.


• Translating operational requirements into robust, scalable SCADA architectures aligned with a global harmonization program.


• Integrating new flexible assets, including renewable power plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems, into the SCADA ecosystem.


• Delivering integrated automation solutions for Remote Dispatching Centers, ensuring seamless control of production assets.


• Continuously adapting and evolving systems to meet changing energy market mechanisms and regulatory requirements.


• Enabling automation of decision-making processes to support the delivery of ancillary services and optimize grid performance.


• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are future-proof, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years (and up to 8 years) of hands-on experience in development and engineering within industrial application architecture.


• Ability to translate complex operational needs into elegant, scalable technical solutions.


• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit—builders who elevate those around them.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in AVEVA System Platform (minimum 5 years, advanced level).


• Deep experience with ArchestrA Object Modelling.


• Advanced ASP Scripting capabilities.


• Comprehensive knowledge of industrial application architecture and SCADA systems.


• Proven track record in development and engineering for business-critical, real-time environments.

Language Proficiency

• Professional proficiency in English is required.


• Knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus, but not mandatory.

Other Requirements

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is highly valued.


• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, cross-border team.


• Strong documentation and solution design skills.


• Commitment to continuous learning and staying ahead of industry trends.
