Supply Chain Officer (temporary role)

As the final link in the logistics process, you, as a Supply Chain Officer, ensure the accurate shipment of ship parts and consumables to our fleet worldwide. You work closely with the transport department to plan the supply of vessels via air, road, and sea transport. In doing so, you maintain close contact with the technical departments on board the vessels, our internal transport department, and the warehouse staff responsible for preparing goods for shipment.

Your responsibilities

• Preparing and following up on the planning, developed in consultation with the transport department

• Preparing transport orders

• Supervising warehouse operators

• Monitoring internally stored goods and goods in transit

• Managing the shared mailbox and maintaining communication with the technical department of the vessels and the internal transport department

• Preparing transport documents (DGD, CMR, loading lists) and liaising with transporters

Your profile

• You have a hands-on mentality and are willing to roll up your sleeves to check shipments in the warehouse

• Good knowledge of Dutch and English

• You have a flexible mindset: since we supply projects and vessels, planning can change quickly, so the ability to adapt rapidly is essential

• You work accurately and punctually: carefully recording and completing the required documentation
