Supply Chain Strategy Senior Manager

About the role

We are supporting a leading consulting organisation in Belgium that is looking to strengthen its Supply Chain Strategy practice with an experienced Senior Manager.

This is a senior, client-facing role focused on helping organisations address complex supply chain challenges and develop strategies that improve performance, resilience, efficiency and long-term competitiveness.

You will work closely with senior executives to assess current supply chain capabilities, identify strategic opportunities and develop practical roadmaps for change. The role combines strategy, supply chain expertise and transformation, with exposure to a wide range of industries and complex international supply chains.

Your responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Strategy Senior Manager, you will:

• Lead large and complex supply chain strategy engagements from initial problem definition through to final recommendations and implementation planning.
  
  


• Advise C-suite and senior client stakeholders on strategic supply chain and operational challenges.
  
  


• Develop end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with broader business objectives.
  
  


• Assess existing supply chain organisations, processes, capabilities and performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  
  


• Design future-state supply chain operating models and transformation roadmaps.
  
  


• Lead supply chain network strategy and optimisation projects.
  
  


• Develop strategies around cost, service, resilience, inventory and supply chain performance.
  
  


• Support clients in responding to changing market conditions, geopolitical risks and evolving customer expectations.
  
  


• Lead strategic workshops and facilitate decision-making with senior stakeholders.
  
  


• Manage large project teams and multiple workstreams across complex engagements.
  
  


• Oversee the quality and delivery of client work, ensuring recommendations are both commercially sound and practically achievable.
  
  


• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  
  


• Identify new client opportunities and contribute to proposals, business development and account growth.
  
  


• Develop new supply chain propositions and contribute to the growth of the wider practice.
  
  


• Coach and develop Managers, Consultants and junior team members.

Requirements

What we are looking for

We are looking for a senior professional with a strong track record in supply chain strategy and consulting, combined with the ability to lead complex client engagements.

Ideally, you will have:

• Significant experience within supply chain consulting, strategy consulting or a senior strategic supply chain role.
  
  


• Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and operating models.
  
  


• Experience developing supply chain strategies and translating them into actionable transformation roadmaps.
  
  


• Experience leading complex engagements involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
  
  


• Strong experience in strategic problem-solving, quantitative analysis and developing executive-level recommendations.
  
  


• Proven ability to engage confidently with C-suite and senior client stakeholders.
  
  


• Experience managing, coaching and developing consulting teams.
  
  


• Strong commercial awareness and experience contributing to business development and proposals.
  
  


• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  
  


• A structured and analytical approach to solving complex business problems.
  
  

Experience from a top-tier strategy or management consulting environment would be advantageous, particularly where this has involved supply chain, operations or industrial strategy.
