Technical Expert (Building / Facilities / HVAC / Electrical)

NextLink is having an existing
position as a Technical Expert in Brussels area, Belgium.

General information:

- Start date: ASAP

- Duration: 12 months renewable

- Workload: full time

- Work location: Brussels area, Belgium

The Technical Expert reports to the
Head of Corporate Buildings, who in turn reports to the Head of

Customer Servicing & Facility
Management of the company.

Technical Experts collaborate closely
with Building Site Managers, Building Managers, and various

external subcontractors (engineers,
technicians, workers).

They are responsible for the technical
management of operational buildings, with a total

gross area of approximately 95.000 m².

Responsible for monitoring and
controlling the daily maintenance of technical installations in major buildings
located in Brussels, Antwerp, and Charleroi, including:

• Prepare visit and incident reports

• Draft meeting minutes

• Prepare incident reports and
investigations, including conclusions

• Propose purchase orders

• Approve purchase orders

• Manage projects from A to Z

• Implement targeted multidisciplinary
projects

• Define, apply, and continuously
improve the maintenance policy

• Continuously align the company’s
energy vision across all buildings

• Listen to and understand users’
needs

• Maintain strong expertise in
building technologies

• Manage, operate, and oversee
technical installations, including:

o HVAC systems

o Electrical installations

o Sanitary systems

o Kitchen equipment

o Building Management Systems (BMS)

o Elevators and lifts

• Design, implement, and accept
technical installations (HVAC, electrical, sanitary, kitchen, BMS,

elevators, etc.)

• Monitor preventive maintenance
activities

• Systematically compare work carried
out by different contractors

• Closely supervise service delivery

• Establish performance indicators

• Respond rapidly to failures and take
appropriate corrective actions

• Monitor execution of works and
report anomalies

• Propose solutions and improvements

• Compensate for system failures when
necessary

• Act as backup for colleagues in
routine operations

• Coordinate interventions of
subcontractors

• Establish procedures and operating
methods

• Ensure proper functioning of
equipment

• Optimize material usage and
management

• Manage technical documentation
(legal and other)

• Knwoledge of environmental rules
(Plage, environmental audits, permits…)

Profile:

• Language: French fluent + Dutch fluent (English
is a bonus)

• Master en sciences de l’ingénieur industriel (M.Sc.) -
Ingénieur industriel (Ing) ELEKTRO MECHANICAL

• Minimum 5 years experience

• Experience in:

o Project management

o Organization and execution of construction/technical works

o In -depth expertise in a specific technical field
(electricity, HVAC)

• Proficiency in standard MS Office tools

• Solid knowledge of the construction sector, including
products, technologies, and systems

(maintained through training and self -learning)

• Be willing to provide on -call sercices
