Poppy is reshaping the way Belgium moves. Launched in 2018 by D'Ieteren Automotive, we have grown from a 350-car startup in Antwerp to an 85+ people scale-up offering two complementary mobility solutions: shared mobility (our iconic red cars and vans in Brussels, Antwerp and the BE airports), and flexible leasing for businesses through Poppy Lease.

Whether someone jumps into a red Poppy for a quick trip, heads out for a weekend escape, or a fleet manager rolls out Lease across an entire team, … Our mission stays the same: making mobility flexible, accessible and better for our cities. 

About the Role

Ready to strengthen our Marketing team during summer?

As a Social Media & Content Creation Student, you will help bring our brand to life across digital channels. From creating engaging content to spotting trends and bring fresh ideas to the table, you will play an active role in how we connect with our audience.

What you will be doing:

• Create content that BLOW US AWAY: You will write, shoot, edit content & deliver assets (video, photo, reels, …) - not only for the content plan during summer but also asset creation that can be used until the end of the year

• Create Content Calender & Publish content on different channels: Based on the content plan developed together with the team, you will publish content across our social media channels.

• Bringing fresh ideas to the table: You will contribute to our content calendar, pitch creative concepts and help campaigns from brief to publish.

• Community Management: You know how to react & engage with a community.

• Tell our story: You will translate topics into content that is accessible and punchy.

• Collaborate cross-teams: You will work hand in hand with the broader marketing and other teams to fuel content that reflects our Poppy story.

Your Profile

• You are currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.

• You have a passion for social media and stay up to date with the latest trends across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

• You possess strong communication skills in English, as well as French or Dutch.

• You enjoy creating engaging content, have a good eye for visuals and brand communication.

• You are proactive, creative and eager to learn in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
