This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor Node.JS Sênior | PIX based in Brazil.
This role is focused on building and evolving high-performance backend systems within the PIX ecosystem, playing a critical part in financial transaction flows at scale. You will work on mission-critical services that demand reliability, security, and high availability. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly technical, with strong emphasis on engineering excellence and continuous improvement. You will contribute to distributed architectures and integration between multiple microservices and external financial systems. The position offers exposure to complex RiskOps challenges and real-time payment processing. It is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving high-impact problems in the fintech space and working with modern backend technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and resilient solutions.
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions for PIX-based products and services in a high-scale environment.
- Integrate microservices with internal systems and external financial or payment platforms.
- Contribute to RiskOps solutions ensuring security, reliability, and fraud prevention mechanisms.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices in software engineering and system design.
- Support the evolution and maintenance of existing systems, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver robust, distributed, and event-driven architectures.
Requirements:
- Solid experience working with PIX as a direct participant in production environments.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript with Node.js.
- Experience with MySQL, RESTful APIs, JSON, and Git workflows.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha with Sinon.
- Familiarity with Linux-based environments and backend troubleshooting.
- Experience working in high-availability, high-volume systems.
- Proactive mindset with strong sense of ownership and urgency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
Nice to have:
- Experience with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, S3, and DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design and SOLID principles.
- Experience with MongoDB and Redis.
- Understanding of OAuth and API documentation using Swagger (OpenAPI 3).
- Basic English for technical reading.
