This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Engenharia de Plataforma Pleno - Developer Experience based in Brazil.
This role sits within a modern Platform Engineering environment focused on improving the developer journey and enabling high-performance software delivery at scale. You will contribute directly to the evolution of internal developer platforms, helping reduce friction across engineering teams and improving productivity through better tools, standards, and automation. The position is highly collaborative, working alongside experienced engineers to build and maintain a centralized developer portal and establish golden paths that simplify and standardize development workflows. It is an opportunity to shape how internal teams build, test, and deploy software while continuously improving developer experience. Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for building and evolving internal platforms and tools that enhance developer productivity and standardize engineering workflows across multiple teams.
- Develop and evolve the internal developer portal (Dev Center), ensuring usability, scalability, and continuous improvement
- Build and improve Developer Experience tools and workflows used across multiple engineering teams
- Contribute to the design and implementation of Golden Paths that standardize and simplify software development practices
- Reduce friction in development workflows by identifying bottlenecks and implementing technical solutions and automation
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation to support onboarding and platform adoption
- Gradually increase ownership and autonomy over shared platform components and engineering solutions
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings strong front-end development experience and a passion for improving developer experience and platform engineering.
- Experience as a Mid-level Front-end Developer (or equivalent) in Developer Experience, platform, or enabler teams
- Strong proficiency in React and modern front-end development practices
- Solid foundation in software engineering principles and experience building internal tools or platforms
- Strong motivation to work in Developer Experience contexts, with a clear understanding that the end user is the internal developer
- Experience with technical documentation and defining standardized workflows
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in Developer Experience, platform engineering, or enabler teams
- Familiarity with internal developer platforms or catalogs (e.g., Backstage or similar tools)
- Experience with CI/CD and deployment tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, CircleCI, or Spinnaker
- Experience contributing to Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs)
- Knowledge of Golden Paths, self-service infrastructure, and workflow standardization practices
