Partner with the Best

As a Field Specialist, you will provide technical support to Technology, Commercial, and Service Delivery teams within Well Completions and Well Intervention Services. You will support the full job lifecycle—from portfolio management and pre-job evaluation to execution and post-job analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Executing multiple medium-risk applications within a product line related to Well Completions and Well Interventions.
• Ensuring all supplied equipment is compatible with other tools and systems used in the operation.
• Providing direct customer support and complete all required documentation before and after job execution.
• Conducting all activities in compliance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal requirements, and Core Values.

Fuel Your Passion

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Hold a technical diploma and have solid experience in oilfield services.
• Demonstrate a strong background in Well Completions and Well Interventions.
• Possess a good understanding of drilling and completion techniques, as well as rig-based drilling/intervention operations.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be available for variable schedules and 24‑hour emergency callouts.
• Speak fluent Portuguese or have advanced English/Spanish (preferred).

Desired Technical Knowledge

• Upper Completions: Chemical injection, flow control, gas lift, packers, safety valves.
• Lower Completions: Sand control, inflow control, isolation valves.
• Intelligent Production Systems: Gauges, interval control valves, flowmeters.
• Well Intervention: Well abandonment, milling, section milling, casing exit, wellbore cleanup, whipstock operations, thru-tubing operations.
• Well Construction: Casing hangers.

Work Environment

• On-site work at customer locations in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro.
