About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a development and support team working within a Microsoft Azure environment. The team currently has established tools, processes, and infrastructure in place, with opportunities to continuously improve, automate, and optimize the way we operate.

This role requires strong technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with both the CI&T team and an international client based in the United States and Canada, making advanced to fluent English essential for the position.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with development and support teams to maintain and improve the Azure environment.


• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.


• Automate infrastructure, operational tasks, and application deployments.


• Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments running on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).


• Implement and maintain GitOps practices using ArgoCD, Helm, and Kustomize.


• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.


• Monitor infrastructure, applications, and services, identifying opportunities for performance and reliability improvements.


• Support security and compliance initiatives across the cloud environment.


• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.


• Contribute to continuous improvement of existing tools, processes, and DevOps practices.


• Collaborate effectively with technical teams and international stakeholders in English.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Senior DevOps Engineer or in a similar senior-level role.


• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes/AKS.


• Solid experience with CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and automation.


• Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting complex technical issues.


• Strong communication and collaboration skills.


• Advanced to fluent English, with confidence communicating directly with clients in the United States and Canada.


• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in international, distributed teams.


• Experience in environments with established DevOps practices and a focus on continuous improvement.
