Operational and Strategic Management:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the wind and solar plants.
• Implement operational strategies to optimize performance, reduce costs, and maximize energy production.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and make operational adjustments as needed.
• Support the development and execution of maintenance schedules, procedures, and long-term maintenance strategies.
• Lead and participate in troubleshooting significant operational issues in collaboration with coordinators and site supervisors.

Team Management:

• Lead and develop technical, operational, and maintenance teams, ensuring continuous training and efficiency in meeting goals.
• Conduct training sessions and ensure compliance with internal and external safety regulations and standards.

Project and Investment Management:

• Manage expansion and improvement projects for the plants, including coordinating investments in new equipment and technologies.
• Participate in the development of expansion projects and new ventures, from planning through to execution.

Stakeholder Relationship Management:

• Engage with regulatory bodies, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, safety, and operational regulations.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

• Prepare regular performance reports for the plants, highlighting financial, operational, and sustainability results.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement corrective action plans when necessary.

Cost and Budget Management:

• Control the operational budget of the plants, analyzing and monitoring expenses, investments, and optimizations.
• Monitor and control costs related to preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as general expenses.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related fields. Postgraduate/MBA is a plus.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English (mandatory)

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in managing renewable energy plants, preferably in inind energy sectors, with experience of wind turbine in-house maintenance management
• Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven experience in project management, budgeting, and cost control.

Technical Knowledge:

• Knowledge of wind and solar power generation systems.
• Familiarity with plant monitoring and management software.
• Knowledge of regulatory and environmental standards applicable to the renewable energy sector.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong leadership abilities and ability to work under pressure, with skills to motivate and engage teams.
• Decision-making capabilities based on data analysis and KPIs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, able to report results at various organizational levels.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strategic vision and results-oriented mindset.

Desirable:

• Experience with expansion or new project developments in the renewable energy sector.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies in renewable energy.
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies and performance optimization tools.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and collaborate with international teams. Chinese language skills are a plus.
