This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Engenheiro(a) de Software Pleno e Especialista – Cloud, DevSecOps & Arquitetura – Inglês Avançado based in Brazil.

You will contribute to scalable, resilient, secure architectures and distributed systems across diverse technology landscapes.
The role combines software engineering with Cloud, DevOps, DevSecOps, automation, and modern architecture practices.
You will help connect applications, APIs, infrastructure, and deployment processes while improving reliability and engineering quality.
Depending on your level, you can contribute as a technically autonomous engineer or influence architecture and technology direction at specialist level.
The position offers exposure to multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, with opportunities to work on challenging modernization initiatives.
Advanced English is essential for collaboration with international teams and stakeholders.
Accountabilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain software solutions in complex technical environments, applying strong engineering practices, testing standards, and code-quality principles.
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of scalable, resilient, secure, and maintainable software architectures.
- Design and support integrations between applications, APIs, and distributed systems, ensuring reliable communication across platforms.
- Automate software development, infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes through modern DevOps practices.
- Implement and promote DevOps and DevSecOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle, embedding security and quality into engineering processes.
- Work with Cloud environments and Infrastructure as Code solutions, leveraging technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes where applicable.
- Support initiatives related to observability, monitoring, application security, infrastructure security, reliability, and operational excellence.
- For specialist-level professionals, provide technical direction, define architectural patterns and technology standards, and influence engineering decisions across teams.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, communicating technical concepts clearly and maintaining focus on business outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience in software engineering and/or Cloud technologies, with practical experience delivering solutions in medium- to high-complexity projects.
- For the Pleno level, demonstrated technical autonomy and a willingness to deepen expertise in architecture, automation, security, Cloud, and platform engineering.
- For the Especialista level, strong technical depth and proven experience defining architectures, standards, technology directions, and engineering practices.
- Experience or strong knowledge of Java and/or Python, with familiarity with modern software engineering principles.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, as well as Cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and automation.
- Knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps, GitOps and/or Platform Engineering, together with observability and monitoring practices.
- Understanding of application and infrastructure security, software testing, reliability, and code-quality best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges pragmatically.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, autonomy, and technical leadership skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
- Advanced English is mandatory, including the ability to participate in meetings, presentations, technical discussions, and interactions with international teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work remotely or in a hybrid model within Brazil, according to applicable working arrangements.
