Safety Technician - Tecnico de Segurança

• Conduct regular safety inspections in operational and administrative areas.
• Identify occupational hazards and propose corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare, update, and manage safety documents such as:
  • Risk Assessments, Work Permits, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Incident Reports.
• Lead and support incident and accident investigations.
• Deliver mandatory safety training (e.g., Working at Heights, Machine Safety, Electrical Safety).
• Monitor and control the use and availability of PPE and safety equipment.
• Support internal and external audits (including regulatory and ISO 45001).
• Track and report safety indicators (e.g., incident rate, near miss reports).
• Guide and collaborate with safety committees, emergency brigades, and operational teams.
• Promote safety awareness through campaigns, toolbox talks, and training sessions.

• Technical degree in Occupational Safety or equivalent certification.
• Valid professional registration according to local regulatory requirements.

• Strong knowledge of national health and safety regulations and standards (local legislation).
• Ability to perform:
  • Risk Assessment
  • Incident Investigation
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with safety management systems or digital EHS platforms (desirable).
