This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer (React/Node) based in Brazil.
This is a senior-level engineering role focused on building and evolving scalable digital products across modern web architectures. You will contribute to both backend and frontend development, working on web applications, APIs, and distributed systems. The environment is highly collaborative, technical, and centered on continuous delivery and quality. You will play a key role in shaping solutions that integrate multiple services and data sources. The position involves working with microservices, microfrontends, and serverless components. It is well-suited for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and driving impactful software delivery in agile teams.
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and/or Java, ensuring scalability and performance in distributed architectures.
- Build and maintain frontend interfaces using React, delivering responsive and high-quality user experiences.
- Contribute to the evolution of microservices-based systems, including integration, optimization, and maintenance activities.
- Support the development and maintenance of microfrontend architectures when applicable.
- Develop and manage serverless functions (e.g., AWS Lambda) and integrate them into broader system workflows.
- Create, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring robust system communication and data flow.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle.
- Participate in technical refinements, estimations, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement discussions.
- Ensure clean, maintainable code aligned with engineering standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Solid experience with Node.js and/or Java in production environments.
- Strong experience developing applications with React.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and system integrations.
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle).
- Basic to solid experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with microfrontend concepts and implementations.
- Knowledge of serverless architecture and AWS Lambda or similar services.
- Experience using Git for version control in collaborative environments.
- Understanding of automated testing practices and software engineering best practices.
- Ability to translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in agile teams (differential).
- Nice to have: experience with Angular, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, observability tools, and event-driven architectures.
