Tax Manager Market LATAM

As Tax Manager Market LATAM, you will be responsible for driving tax governance, compliance, and business partnering across Latin America. You will work closely with Finance, Legal, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Global Tax teams to ensure tax risks are effectively managed while supporting business decisions and operational excellence.

You will provide expert tax guidance, oversee tax compliance and reporting, support audits, and contribute to tax planning initiatives across multiple LATAM markets. This role requires a proactive professional capable of balancing strategic advisory with operational execution in a fast-paced multinational environment.

This position is based in São Paulo / SP – Brazil (Berrini region), under a hybrid work model.

The impact you’ll make:

•  Act as the trusted tax business partner for LATAM markets, providing tax guidance to support business decisions and commercial initiatives. 


• Ensure compliance with local tax legislation, corporate tax governance, and internal tax policies across the region. 


• Review and oversee tax documentation, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Transfer Pricing, CbCR, DAC6 (where applicable), and other local tax requirements. 


• Support tax planning initiatives while ensuring alignment with global tax strategies and local regulations. 


• Coordinate and support tax audits, tax authority inquiries, and tax controversy management. 


• Partner with Finance teams on quarterly and annual tax accounting and reporting activities. 


• Identify tax risks and recommend practical, business-oriented solutions to mitigate exposure. 


• Review business processes and internal controls to strengthen tax compliance and governance. 


• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of tax technologies, automation initiatives, and digital tax solutions. 


• Build strong relationships with regional and global stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across functions. 


• Monitor changes in LATAM tax legislation and assess business impacts proactively. 


• Drive continuous improvement of tax processes to increase efficiency, standardization, and operational excellence. 

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, Finance, Economics, or related field. 


• Extensive experience in Corporate Tax, International Tax, or Tax Advisory within multinational companies or Big Four firms. 


• Strong knowledge of LATAM tax legislation, corporate income tax, indirect taxes, and tax accounting. 


• Experience supporting tax audits and tax authority interactions. 


• Solid understanding of tax governance, internal controls, and risk management. 


• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities. 


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 


• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across multiple countries. 


• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and tax technologies. 


• Fluent English and Spanish. Portuguese is highly desirable. 


• Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, or Retail industries. 


• Experience with Transfer Pricing documentation and international tax matters. 


• Knowledge of digital tax transformation initiatives and automation tools. 


• Experience supporting regional or global tax organizations. 


• Postgraduate degree or specialization in Tax, Accounting, or Business Law. 


• CPA, Tax Certification, or equivalent professional qualification is considered a plus.
