• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs for customers.
  
• Using diagnostic equipment, identify vehicle problems.
  
• Provide excellent customer service while explaining automotive repairs and issues.
  
• Repair procedures should be planned using charts, manuals, and experience.
  
• Parts and systems must be tested for functionality.
  
• Oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation are examples of primary auto care and maintenance tasks.
  
• Replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other components.
  
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and general mechanic work.
  
• Willingness to learn through hands -on experience.
  
• Assist in keeping the repair shop clean and organized.
  
• Maintain a professional demeanor.
  

Requirements

• Experience with automotive and engine repair or auto mechanic training is required.
  
• Certifications from ASE are necessary.
  
• Valid driver's license.
  
• Associate's degree in auto maintenance and repair.
  
• Ability to present a professional image while providing friendly customer service.
  
• To keep accurate records, it is necessary to read, interpret, and transcribe data.
  
• Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast -paced environment.
  
• May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
  
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  
• Experience as a lube technician or prepared to do on -the -job training.
  
• Understanding of automotive air -conditioning systems.
  
• Ability to use the diagnostic equipment.
  
• Experience with heavy equipment and as a diesel mechanic, diesel engine knowledge, or prepared to do on -the -job training.
  
• Good hand -eye coordination.
