Description

The opportunity 

Aspire Software, an operating group of Valsoft Corporation, acquires, builds, and grows vertical market software companies around the world. Each brand operates with entrepreneurial autonomy while benefiting from shared expertise, leadership, and collaboration across our global portfolio. 

Aspire Software is launching a new AI-driven B2B SaaS venture and is seeking an AI Lead to build and lead it from day one. We partner with vertical market software businesses to identify high-impact opportunities where AI can unlock significant customer value. This new venture will focus on building a developer-first, AI-enabled SaaS platform, designed to integrate seamlessly into existing workflows and scale through strong product adoption. 

The market opportunity is proven, fragmented, and ready for transformation. As AI Lead, you will shape the product vision, drive go-to-market execution, build the founding team, and establish market leadership - backed by Aspire and Valsoft’s capital, infrastructure, and global operating expertise. 

What you'll be doing  

  • Lead a new B2B SaaS business built around AI and platform innovation in a vertical software market  
  • Develop and execute a scalable go-to-market strategy: identify early adopters, iterate on positioning, and close first customers  
  • Define product and market strategy, with a strong focus on developer experience, adoption, and scalability 
  • Build a milestone-based plan, allocate budget, and raise capital with our support  
  • Assemble a high-performing team to execute across product, tech, sales, and operations  
  • Partner closely with technical leaders to ensure high-quality APIs, SDKs, documentation, and integration workflows 
  • Own and operate the business with full autonomy   

What you bring  

  • A founder mindset: You’re motivated by building from scratch and fully owning the journey  
  • 3+ years of experience building or operating AI software, API or SDK based platforms with leadership experience (e.g. Product lead, Startup Founder, or Sales/Operations lead)  
  • Demonstrated success in building early-stage ventures or leading 0→1 product launches, with bachelor in relevant field   
  • Strong understanding of developer-first products, including documentation, onboarding, reliability, and versioning 
  • Grit and resourcefulness with proven success of operating without a playbook   
  • Commercial mindset with exposure to pricing, packaging, GTM execution, and customer adoption 
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and business domains 
  • Ability to drive the overall company vision, culture, and performance

  • P&L responsibility: You’ll run the company day-to-day and long-term  
  • Equity stake: You’ll be a significant shareholder in the business you help create  
  • Product and market vision: You’ll lead strategy, execution, and team alignment  
  • Customer outcomes: You’ll focus relentlessly on value creation for users
