Make an impact with our Consulting - Performance Improvement & Operational Excellence team as an Analyst. Responsibilities
Analyze work processes, communication activities and management systems to identify productivity-related opportunities for improvement
Propose and assist in implementing process changes using Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology
Implement changes after they are designed
Develop positive working relationships with clients at the peer and management level
Plan and conduct data collection through primary, secondary, comparative and best practice research, including interviews, focus groups, facilitated workshops, surveys, review of client data, direct observation, published reports, internet research and direct contacts
Be a driver in the implementation of a culture of performance
Develop and implement key performance indicators
Assist in delivery of consulting services such as strategic planning, business planning, feasibility studies, process improvement, performance improvement, organizational effectiveness and analytical studies, working at times independently and as part of a project team
Propose/create optimal planning, execution and reporting tools
Coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders consistent with project plans
Perform analysis and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data, including financial data, and present information in a clear, concise manner
Collaborate with clients to develop a management operating system to support operational excellence
Support the design, development, formatting and proofreading of high-quality professional reports, proposals and correspondence
Provide a consistent, high level of client service based on client needs, including response to requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner
Assist in and support ongoing improvements in project methods and development of technical knowledge
Assist in promotion of MNP Consulting through the support and development of presentations, articles, workshops or participating in community activities
Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
Skills and Experience
An undergraduate degree in a related field
A Lean Six Sigma certification is considered an asset
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Ability to quickly analyze a situation and see opportunities to improve it
Passionate about bringing out the full potential of individuals and organizations
