Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced AS400 Developer with strong expertise in IBM i (AS400) application development, maintenance, and production support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise applications while collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver reliable and high -quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and support applications on the IBM i (AS400) platform.
  
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
• Develop and enhance programs, reports, and database objects.
  
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide production support.
  
• Support system integrations, file transfers, messaging services, and batch processing activities.
  
• Perform impact analysis, data mapping, testing, and technical documentation.
  
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and development teams to deliver quality solutions.
  
• Participate in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project environments.
  
• Utilize project and incident management tools to track development and support activities.
  
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality processes, and enterprise development practices.
  

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IBM i (AS400) application development and support.
  
• Strong knowledge of AS400 programming, database management, and system integration.
  
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall environments.
  
• Strong analytical, problem -solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
