About BrookGlobal
BrookGlobal designs and delivers donor recognition systems and immersive environmental experiences for hospitals and nonprofit institutions across North America. Our work bridges architecture, storytelling, fabrication, digital integration, and interior environments to create meaningful, human-centered spaces that support fundraising and community impact. We operate at the intersection of concept, engineering, and execution — and we expect our designers to understand all three.
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Assembly & Installation Technician who takes ownership from the production floor to final installation. This role is not just about assembling components—it’s about ensuring every project is built, delivered, and installed to a high standard, often in live hospital environments.
You will work across fabrication, assembly, and on-site installation, ensuring quality, safety, and deadlines are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, CAD drawings, and schematics
Assemble components accurately using hand and power tools (including table saws, routers, etc.)
Apply graphics and finishes to various substrates (acrylic, metal, glass, vinyl)
Perform quality checks throughout production to ensure accuracy and consistency
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues independently
Manage shipping, receiving, and inspection of materials and finished components
Package, crate, and prepare products for safe transport
Ensure all items are complete and ready for installation before shipment
Execute installations at client sites (hospitals, public spaces, etc.)
Work with ladders, tools, and mounting systems safely and efficiently
Ensure installations meet design intent, structural integrity, and safety standards (including ADA where applicable)
Represent the company professionally on-site with clients and stakeholders
Keep projects on track and ensure production and installation deadlines are met
Identify risks or issues early and communicate proactively
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace (shop and site)
Collaborate with production, design, and project teams
Provide feedback to improve processes, quality, and efficiency
Report issues related to production, assembly, or installation to the supervisor
Travel across Canada and the US.
Qualifications & Experience
2–5+ years in assembly, fabrication, carpentry, or installation roles
Experience working with tools, materials, and construction/fit-out environments
Ability to read technical drawings and plans
Comfortable with travel and on-site work
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Physically able to lift materials and work on ladders
Nice to Have:
Experience in signage, millwork, or custom fabrication
Knowledge of basic electrical or mounting systems
Experience working in healthcare or commercial environments
How to Apply If you take pride in building and installing high-quality work and want to be part of a team delivering impactful projects, we would like to hear from you.
Please submit your resume along with a brief note outlining your experience with assembly, installation, and any AV or LED systems you’ve worked with.
