Purpose of the function
The temporary fulltime Associate Marketing Manager, based in Toronto, ON, supports the execution of brand and disease‑area strategies. This role focuses on marketing program execution, content development, patient support operations, and local supply chain coordination. The position collaborates closely with Marketing Managers to deliver tactical plans while ensuring alignment with compliance, brand standards, and market needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support Marketing Managers in planning and implementing tactical initiatives, including campaigns, events, digital activities, and field tools.
- Track KPIs and analyze campaign performance to recommend optimizations.
- Manage development of promotional and non‑promotional materials in collaboration with agencies and internal teams.
- Patient Support Program (PSP) coordination.
- Act as the day‑to‑day coordinator for the PSP vendor, ensuring timeliness, compliance, and quality of services.
- Facilitate patient insights gathering and partner with cross‑functional teams (Medical, Market Access, Compliance) to improve program operations.
- Local Supply Chain Interface management.
- Coordinate Canadian product availability, including inventory monitoring, demand forecasting inputs, and vendor communication.
- Escalate operational risks related to inventory or distribution to the Marketing Manager.
- Alliance and Stakeholder collaboration.
- Support cross‑functional and external alliances, focusing on milestone tracking.
- KPI reporting.
- Partner communication and issue escalation.
- Maintaining governance documents and dashboards.
- Organizing alliance collaboration events and meetings to strengthen partnership effectiveness.
- Actively contributing to regional and global alliance management forums and cascading key insights to the affiliate level.
- Assessing local regulatory and legislative requirements related to alliance activities and coordinating with Legal and Compliance functions.
- Continuously reviewing alliance ways of working and driving process improvements.
- Marketing administration and budget tracking.
- Maintain PO tracking, budget logs, and monthly marketing reconciliation.
- Coordinate event logistics (marketing‑owned) including agency oversight, material preparation, and booth/asset management.

Education & Experience
- Education: University
- Degree: Degree in marketing, business, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field.
- Required Experience: 2 to 5 years 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.
Skills and additional Requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with experience in project management and marketing tools.
- High ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work collaboratively in a matrix environment, and manage budgets effectively.
- Proficiency in English and knowledge of digital marketing channels and Microsoft Office is essential.
