Banquet Dishwasher (Casual)

We are currently seeking a Banquet Dishwasher (Casual). The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and works effectively as part of a team with a positive and energetic attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash all pots, pans, inserts, and banquet equipment


• Ensure dishes and equipment are stored in appropriate areas


• Maintain cleanliness of banquet dishwashing areas, including floors


• Assist with the setup and cleanup of banquet and function rooms


• Clean and organize all related work areas and equipment


• Maintain sanitation solutions in accordance with company standards


• Set up dishwashing machines at the start of shifts and properly shut them down


• Troubleshoot minor dish machine issues and report concerns as needed


• Keep Banquet Management informed of any issues or irregularities and take corrective action where appropriate


• Perform other duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced or hospitality environment preferred


• Food Safety Certification is an asset


• Strong organizational and time management skills


• Ability to follow Health & Safety policies and procedures


• Effective verbal and written communication skills


• Reliable, flexible, and able to work varied shifts as required


• Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)


• Clear criminal record check required upon hire

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods with intermittent walking


• Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs


• Continuous use of manual dexterity and motor skills


• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive tasks

Hours of Work:

Hours will vary based on operational requirements and may include day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
