Bar Manager

Starvox Entertainment is looking for an experienced, friendly, and proactive Bar Manager for an upcoming production at the Randolph Theatre beginning mid November and running through the beginning of January, 2027. The ideal candidate is helpful, outgoing, and has a proven track recording providing leadership and support to a staff team of servers and bartenders.

POSITION SUMMARY

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage, restock, and report on inventory and supplies


• Maintain and negotiate contracts with suppliers and partners


• Oversee the budget of the bar operations


• Oversee cash management including floats, reconciliations, and tip pool distribution


• Use point-of-sale system to facilitate sales and create end of day reports


• Track customer behaviour and sales trends 


• Hire, train, and oversee bar staff and bartenders


• Ensure a clean and safe workplace


• Comply with all health and safety regulations
  
  

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

• Must be Smart Serve Certified


• Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to work well under pressure


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Comfortable with cash handling and POS systems


• Enthusiasm and a lot of energy


• Prior experience working in a bar in an entertainment setting a plus
